March 24 1997

Dear Mr. Artinian,
I would like to give you an interim report on our experience with the use of the Oxylator EM-100. We have instituted a study of this device in the prehospital setting and to date have enrolled 16 patients, two of whom are in the control group. The Oxylator EM-100 has been used successfully on these 14 patients. We have received favorable comments from the paramedics regarding the ease of use of the device and have not experienced any mechanical problems with it to date. We plan to continue with this project until we have sufficient numbers of patients enrolled in the study.

       Yours faithfully,

       Taryn Kennedy M.D.
       Associate Medical Director
